  • 130 g quick-cooking oatmeal
  • 130 g flour
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 130 g of soft butter
  • 50 g maple syrup
  • 700 g unsweetened applesauce see notes for homemade version
  • 3 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Place a sheet of parchment paper at the bottom of a baking dish.
  2. Put the oatmeal flakes, the flour, 100 g of brown sugar, the butter and the maple syrup in the mixing bowl. Mix 20 sec/speed 3/reverse/spoon. Reserve.
  3. Put the applesauce, cornstarch, 100 g brown sugar, and cinnamon in the mixing bowl. Heat 7 min / 120°/ speed 1.
  4. Spread half of the reserved crunchy mixture from step 2 at the bottom of the baking dish and press lightly.
  5. Add the apple filling from step 3 and sprinkle with remaining reserved crunchy mixture.
  6. Bake 30 minutes at 375°F.
  • To make about 700 g of applesauce: 700 g of apples peeled and cubed in the mixing bowl. Mix 5 sec/speed 5 then cook 10 min/100°/speed 1.
  • You can make this recipe in individual mini casseroles and serve them warm with a vanilla ice cream scoop on top.
