INGREDIENTS
  • 170 g maple sugar
  • 285 g maple syrup
  • 200 g 35% whipping cream
  • 20 g cornstarch
  • 30 g butter
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Put the maple sugar or maple flakes in the mixing bowl. Mix 10 sec / speed 10.
  2. Add maple syrup and heat 10 min / 90° / speed 3.
  3. Add cream and cornstarch. Mix 5 sec / speed 5 then cook 13 min / 120° / speed 2 without the measuring cup but with the simmering basket on top to avoid projections.
  4. The preparation has thickened. Add the butter and mix 5 min / speed 4 without the measuring cup.
  5. Put in jars.
NOTES
  • Can be kept unopened 2 months in the refrigerator and 4 weeks if opened. Delicious on morning toast, or on waffles or pancakes.
  • "Naughty" garnish to put between two cookies or shells of macaroons!
